Please read the following email if you are a referee for SGRA or would like to become an official (referee) for SGRA.
CURRENT officials please email the Referee-In-Chief at officiating@sprucegroveringette.com and confirm if you intend to continue officiating for SGRA. Also it is a RULE CHANGE YEAR and it is YOUR responsibility to sign-up and receive the necessary training. Courses are listed and can be found on Ringette Alberta website. Thank you.
Spruce Grove Ringette Association is now taking applications for new referees. If you are at least 14 years (as of September 1st, 2017) and you are interested in becoming a referee, please complete the Online Application by CLICKING HERE and also can be located on the SGRA website under INFORMATION tab, BYLAWS/POLICIES/FORMS/DOCUMENTS, REFEREE APPLICATION. Applications must be received no later than July 31st of the current year.

As the SGRA can only take in a small number of new referees each year, all applications will be reviewed. As part of this review the Referee-In-CChief, may contact you to discuss your application.
If you are chosen as a successful candidate you will be required to complete the Level 1 training which is normally posted through the Ringette Alberta website. You will be reimbursed for the cost of the referee clinic.
If you are not chosen to become an SGRA referee, you will be notified via email. Please do not be discouraged if you are not chosen due to our limitations on the number of referees that we can accommodate.
