RAB Cup and RAB Challenge

Jan. 31, 2018

2018 RAB Challenge & RAB Cup player registration opens February 1st.

RAB Challenge is a development camp offered by Ringette Alberta. The camp is a lead in to the Alberta Winter Games program helping to introduce athletes and coaches alike to the short-term competition model. It is also a precursor for the RAB Cup program. This camp allows athletes to participate on a team made up of athletes from across the province who may come with different skill sets then their own, as well as be exposed to new coaching styles and methods in a fun, developmentally focused weekend!  The goal of the weekend is to learn lots, meet new people and most importantly, have fun!  The 2018 RAB Challenge is open to players with a birth year of 2003-2005.  See more details at the following link: http://www.ringettealberta.com/challenge-new/

RAB Cup is designed to further enhance the development of Athletes and Coaches.  Those who attend will participate in a well-organized and equitable skill development camp with the intent to prepare for the Canada Winter Games.  This is an excellent learning opportunity for all participants, and a chance to be a part of a truly enjoyable event.  Athletes are given the opportunity to receive a high level of instruction and skill/fitness assessment.  The participants will meet other athletes from all over the Province and learn about the different ways they can work, both on and off the ice, to improve their game. The 2018 RAB Cup is open to players with a birth year of 1999-2002.  .  See more details at the following link: http://www.ringettealberta.com/rab-cup/
