As per SGRA’s Team Formation Policy, new or first time players in U10 and younger, are able to submit requests to be placed on the same team as a friend or family member. These requests are limited to one per player and can only be made by new/first time players in the U10 Division and younger.
If your child meets the criteria noted above and you would like consideration to have your child be placed on the same team as another child, please complete the following request, and have it submitted to the SGRA Registrar prior to the commencement of the evaluating sessions. Any requests submitted after this date will not be considered.
It is important to note that submitting a request is not a guarantee the request can be met. Players will be placed in the appropriate phase as per Black Gold League and Ringette Alberta recommendations and will be determined by standard player evaluations or Universal Athlete Assessments.
The responsibility of team formation is that of the Technical Director, Division Director and President when required. Our main goal is to meet division requirements. The request may only be accommodated if it does not interfere with meeting these requirements.
