Sweetheart Application

The 2023 Sweetheart Tournament will take place February 17 to 20, 2023.  

 Application is now CLOSED.  We are still accepting applications for Active Start 

Thank you to all those who applied to our tournament.  You will receive notification on your acceptance after November 1st.  Cheques must be received by October 20th.

2023 Sweetheart Tournament Application

• Applications will only be accepted using the online application process linked above.
• All players must be from one registered team.

Divisions Accepted: Active Start, U10S1, U10S2, U10S3, U12A, U12B, U12C, U14AA, U14A, U14B, U14C, U16AA, U16A, U16B, U19A, 

Tournament Fees will be posted soon.

Active Start - $500

U10S1-  $550      U10S2 - $650          U10S3 - $800

U12A - $800        U12B -$ 800           U12C -$800

Application Deadline: October 15, 2022

Refund/Cancelation Policy: Once a team receives their acceptance email and responds to confirm their participation in the Sweetheart Tournament, registration will be charged unless we are able to find a replacement team to fill the spot, in which case you will receive a full refund.

How to pay for registration: Tournament fees can only be paid by cheque, and must be received no later than October 20, 2022.  Cheques are to be made payable to SPRUCE GROVEN RINGETTE ASSOCIATION, and both TEAM NAME and DIVISION must be on the memo portion of the cheque.  Registration is NOT accepted until both online application and cheque have been received.

• Cheques will only be cashed for accepted teams closer to the tournament date.  All cheques received from teams who will not be participating will be destroyed.

How you will find out if your Team is accepted into the Sweetheart Tournament

•  Accepted teams will be emailed and a list will be posted to the SGRA website after November 1, 2022.  Teams will be contacted via email by the Sweetheart Tournament Directors either way to let them know if they have been accepted or put on the waiting list.

How to book a hotel for the Sweetheart Tournament

• This is a Stay and Play Tournament.  Teams requiring accommodations for our tournament must make a reservation at one of our tournament approved hotels in order to be considered.
