First, congratulations on an amazing win last night! These young ladies are coming together so nicely as a team, and it sure is fun to watch them play!!

We received our schedule for the upcoming Airdrie Ring of Fire Tournament, and I have inputted the games on RAMP. They should sync to your calendar. If not, here's the lowdown...

Friday, November 11

3:30 PM vs Calgary NW @ Ron Ebbeson-Gold

7:00 PM vs Cochrane Rockies @ Plainsmen

Saturday, November 12

8:30 AM vs Medicine Hat @ Ron Ebbeson-Gold

3:15 PM vs Airdrie Sting @ Ron Ebbeson-Blue

I noticed the late Friday/early Saturday game, and did email the tournament coordinator that it would be nice to not have these two game slots. Not sure if it will go anywhere, but I thought I'd try lol. Finals would be Sunday at 12:45 (Bronze) or 1:00 (Gold).

PLUS, Kim has been working tirelessly at securing a Hotel in Airdrie, and has come up with an amazing deal for us, given that most of the hotels are fully booked. We have 8 Double Queen and 8 King suites at the newly renovated Wingate Hotel. Kim will forward reservation details and contact info soon, to go ahead with securing your room. Please note that although the hotel does not have a pool, it is pet-friendly (YAY), has a complimentary buffet breakfast bar, and a great group rate!

AND.... We have submitted an application for our team to attend a U of A Ringette Kids in the Crowd Program, and are looking at attending a game vs Relit on Sunday, November 6 at 2:00 at the Leduc Rec Centre. I will confirm details once I hear of our acceptance.

AND FINALLY!! Our rescheduled game against Red Deer will most likely be November 19 at Stu Barnes at 10:45am, so keep your calendar open :)
